On January 10, the first Regulatory Panel of Volumetric Controls of the year was held in La Quinta Gloria (Oaxaca, Mexico), aimed at more than 200 entrepreneurs in the gas sector. The event, organized by the EGEO Association under the direction of José Luis Ballesteros and his team, included a welcome message accompanied by a breakfast that highlighted the renowned local gastronomy. Owners and managers of service stations attended the event, showing participation and consolidating the success of the event.
Alvic Mexico, as one of the main speakers on the panel, participated along with strategic suppliers in the sector, including Multioil, ATZIN Consultoria Legal and EUROMEXPOL. During the panel, issues of high value for the industry were addressed, such as the update of the legal framework, new provisions on invoicing, and criteria and behaviors observed by the Servicio de Administración Tributaria (SAT) in the purchase and sale of hydrocarbons.
The panel was developed dynamically, allowing direct interaction with the attendees, who raised doubts about compliance with monthly and annual reports, especially in the Transportistas de Hidrocarburos sector. The experts urged entrepreneurs to stay informed and updated regarding their tax and regulatory obligations.
In the final part of the event, Grupo Multioil shared key information on fuel qualities (Regular, Premium and Diesel) according to NOM-016, emphasizing the importance of regulatory compliance. In addition, it presented a free technological tool for monitoring competitors' prices, designed to strengthen market analysis and support strategic decision-making.
The event reaffirms the commitment of Alvic Mexico and its allies to the training, updating and strengthening of the gas sector, contributing to regulatory compliance and the professionalization of the industry in Mexico.
